Hemingway’s Brewery hosted the region’s first craft distilling festival in June 2022 at its historic waterfront location in Cairns.
The Festival of Spirits is set to become an annual event on the city’s calendar, supported by local distillers from the FNQ Brewers and Distillers Guild.
Hemingway’s required full brand identity development as well as event creative for the inaugural festival.
Tropic Studio worked with Hemingway’s Brewery to create the visual identity conveying a welcoming, expressive, and vibrant atmosphere.
We created a triptych series of mixed media posters using rich colours and loose typography to embody the event’s high energy and tropical feel.
Marketing material was created and effectively trasnferred between print and digital while showcasing the aspirational atmosphere of the event.
The Festival of Spirits campaign required a synchronised multi-platform approach to mark it's first year.
This comprised of print and digital editorial in Tropic Magazine and Tropic Now, various social and EDM inclusions, and the aforementioned print and digital ads.
All aspects of the campaign contributed to the development and estbalishment of brand identity - ensuring future recognition.
